Stewardship—A Disciple’s Response

Cathedral Square project nearing completion

The upper deck of the parking ramp is completed and ready for use; exterior brick work on the Diocesan Pastoral Center completed; and interior dry wall is being hung, finished, and painted. Advance Commitment gatherings are being held throughout the diocese with more scheduled. At the gatherings, guests are provided updates on the Cathedral Square project and given opportunities to support.


The Easter Season

Easter, which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus following his crucifixion and burial, is the most important feast on the Church calendar. The 50 days of the Easter Season, beginning with Easter Sunday and concluding with the Feast of Pentecost (May 11), are celebrated in joyful exultation.

Join Bishop Hurley at the 2008 International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) which will be held June 15-22, 2008 in Quebec, Canada. The theme of the congress is “The Eucharist, Gift of God for the Life of the World.”, For general information about the IEC, please visit http://www.cei2008.ca/en/.
