Adults and Families
This ministry is the collaboration of parishes
and diocesan organizations in the development, support, and
maintenance of a variety of ministries. As part of the Secretariat
of Christian Life and Ministry Formation, we serve those who
serve youth, young adults, college students, those planning
marriage, married couples, parents, those with homosexual
orientation, the divorced and separated, and the widowed.
Services provided - Services include personnel
development, parish commission training, parish consultation,
communications, resources, advocacy, and catechetical/social/retreat
programs.

Goals
- Provide for the ongoing support and enrichment of all
aspects of family life.
- Support and strengthen marriages.
- Provide leadership for the development of young adult
ministry within parishes, parish clusters, and at the diocesan
level - seeking to connect young adults (ages 18-35) with
Jesus Christ and inviting them to participate in the life,
work and mission of the Church.
- Promote and advocate for the development of youth ministry
in parishes, parish clusters, and at the diocesan level
- responding to the needs of young people (ages 11-18) and
inviting them to participate in the life, work and mission
of the Church.
