Topics for Independent or Small Group Study
New to the list of opportunities this year is an independent study process that a Catechist can work on in conjunction with the Parish Catechetical leader. There are twenty (20) topics available that can be downloaded. Each topic is a four-page flier that contains a teaching on that subject.
You will need a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and a Bible in order to read the references listed in the articles. At the end of each flier there are a series of questions. You as the participant will write out the answers to these questions and submit them to your Parish Catechetical Leader or your Parish Catechetical Leader may bring you together as a group to discuss the answers to the questions. You will be granted 1 clock hour in the appropriate Area of Growth.
