What's NCYC 2017?
The NCYC 2017 conference “Called/Llamados” is a celebration of the Catholic faith for high school age young people, involving dynamic speakers, powerful workshops, positive music, interactive activities, vibrant prayer and worship, and a chance to experience the larger Church in the United States by gathering with more than 23,000 teens, priests, religious, bishops, and other leaders from all over the country.
When and where is NCYC held and who hosts it?
All conference events will be held in the Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Nov. 16-18, 2017. The event is hosted by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, an organization that supports and strengthens those who accompany young people as they encounter and follow Jesus Christ.
If you wish to attend, please pre-register through your parish youth ministry leader or school campus minister before May 1. Your parish or school may ask for a deposit at that time.
Your registration for the conference will be complete when you turn in your registration form and payment, which is due before August 31. The total cost is $485 per person. This covers the conference registration fee, 3-night hotel stay, daily breakfast, t-shirt, round trip travel and ground transportation by motor coach while in Indianapolis. Please note that lunch and dinner meals are not included in the cost.
Scholarships ARE available! Application deadline is April 28
Scholarships through the NFCYM are available. Please let your parish youth minister or school campus minster know that you would like to apply for a scholarship. The application form is due by Friday, April 28 to the diocesan office.
