"Celebrate and reverence God's vision of human sexuality."
Natural Family Planning Awareness Week, sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), is July 22-28, 2018.
“The Church’s teaching on marital sexuality is an invitation for men and women — an invitation to let God be God, to receive the gift of God’s love and care, and to let this gift inform and transform us, so we may share that love with each other and with the world.” (excerpt from Married Love and the Gift of Life)
Natural Family Planning, or NFP, is a method of birth regulation that is consistent with Catholic marriage vows by which a couple takes time to understand and recognize the natural and biological signs of fertility and infertility.

Natural Family Planning can be marriage strenthening! Learn about the benefits here.
The dates of Natural Family Planning Awareness Week highlight the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love and responsible parenthood. The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother. Learn more using the resources provided below:
