Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years professional fundraising experience, preferably in a Catholic
environment
2. Proven experience in designing and managing development and alumni relations programs
3. Strong accounting and financial skills
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Reports to: Head of School
Essential Functions
(This job posting is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed for the position):
1. Design, implement and manage all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment and capital
campaigns, fundraising events, special projects, and other school-related solicitations
2. Implement short and long-term fundraising strategies for operating support, scholarships, facilities capital
campaign, endowment campaign, and special projects
3. Manage all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation and donor relations
4. Maintain contact with and develop grant proposals for foundations and corporations
5. Assume responsibility for all Development reports to the Board of Trustees and Development Committee and
attend all Development Committee meetings
6. Oversee the management of databases and all records, files and gift processing
7. Organize alumni events, collect news and information about the members of the alumni for publication, and keep
accurate records of the school’s alumni
8. Create and implement a communication and promotional plan for annual fundraising campaigns
Starting Date: March 1, 2012
Terms: This is a full-time, 52-week position with full benefits
Salary Range: Commensurate with credentials and level of experience in accordance with MCC’s operating budget
