Small town parish of 600 families seeks a part-time (30 hours), salaried, Director of Music Ministries. Duties include organ/piano accompaniment for three English Masses per weekend; direction of adult choir; development of seasonal children’s choir; oversight, training and scheduling of cantors; planning music for all liturgies, including weddings and funerals, and teaching music in parish school.
Ideal candidate will have knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy and strong skills in organ, piano and conducting.
Position is available July 2, 2012. Salary range $20,000 - $25,000.
