What We Offer:
Abstinence Education and Support - promoting abstinence, self-esteem, self-respect, and enhanced communication skills to children and parents through innovative programs. Muskegon County. Contact Nan Andrews at 231-726-4735.

Adolescent and Adult Substance Abuse Counseling - offering a continuum of care for individuals who are exhibiting signs of abuse or dependence on alcohol and other drugs. Treating adolescents only in Manistee, Muskegon, and Ottawa Counties, and both adolescents and adults in Mason and Oceana Counties. Contact Sue Pape at 231-726-4735.

Adoption - provides a comprehensive array of services related to voluntary infant adoption. Also facilitate placement of special needs children and sibling groups into families who can offer them the love, care, nurturing, and opportunities essential for healthy personal growth and development. Infant adoption services are provided through a Regional Collaborative Program with Catholic Family Services of Kalamazoo. Contact Pamela Cohn at 231-726-4735.

Behavioral and Mental Heath Care Counseling - providing counseling to children, adults, couples, and/or families with problems involving depression, anxiety, or losses. Services are provided either in-office or through outreach in the home or school. Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, and Ottawa Counties. Contact Mark Vriesman at 231-726-4735.

Criminal Sexual Conduct Group Counseling - offers convicted sex offenders on probation or parole specialized counseling, education, and support services designed to reintegrate them into society with no repeat of the offense. The State of Michigan Department of Corrections refers participants. Mason, Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa Counties. Contact Mark Vriesman at 231-726-4735.

Community Resource Coordination - provides families in need with comprehensive in-home assessment services, referrals, linkage, and coordination with community resources. Muskegon County. Contact Lisa Pelfresne at 231-726-4735.

Domestic Violence Group Counseling - offers paroled/released domestic violence offenders specialized counseling, education, and support services. Mason and Muskegon Counties. Contact Mark Vriesman at 231-726-4735 or Josh Snyder at 231-843-4899.

Families First - a short-term, intensive, in-home family preservation program for families that are at risk of having one or more children placed in out-of-home care. Lake, Mason, Muskegon, and Oceana Counties. Contact Sharita Hall at 231-726-4735 or Ted Lascari at 231-843-4899.

Family Centered Services Programs - reaching out to the entire family with in-home intervention and family support services. Services include resource coordination, case management, and family mentoring. Muskegon County. Contact Lisa Pelfresne at 231-726-4735.

Family Group Decision Making - a comprehensive kinship care program. Services include identification of kinship and community networks, support services, case management, and resource coordination. Muskegon County. Contact Jennifer Luben at 231-726-4735.

Family Reunification Program - works with families who are being reunited with their children after foster care to strengthen the family unit and keep them together safely. Lake, Mason, Muskegon, and Oceana Counties. Contact Amy Miller at 231-873-0250.

Foster Care - available for children, birth to 18 years old, who are in need of out-of-home placements due to neglect, abuse, delinquency, and/or permanency planning. Also provide Specialized Treatment Foster Care, which serves children who have unique needs - including severe behavioral problems, emotional illness, physical handicaps, or medical concerns - that require intensive supervision and support. Healthy Families - in-home mentoring and support program for families with children birth to three years of age. Muskegon County. Contact Monica Marchell at 231-726-4735.

Low Income Pharmacy Care - support program that provides prescription drugs and supplies (e.g. antihypertensives, antibiotics, insulin, oral diabetic medication, and diabetic supplies) for participants who qualify based on income guidelines. Muskegon County. Contact Mary Lewis at 231-726-4735.

Person Centered Planning - allows individuals with serious mental illnesses and developmental disabilities to make plans for what they want in life and develop creative solutions to achieving their goals. Contact Lisa Boes at 231-726-4735.

Pregnancy Counseling - designed to assist individuals and couples to make decisions, solve problems, set goals, and utilize appropriate resources. This voluntary, free program counsels expectant parents who have concerns related to their pregnancy or choice to parent. Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, and Ottawa Counties. Pregnancy Testing - provides free pregnancy tests. Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, and Ottawa Counties. Contact Sarah Krupka at 231-726-4735.

Post Adoption Support Services - provides support groups, counseling, seminars, and crisis intervention for families after they have adopted a special needs child. Allegan, Kent, Muskegon, and Ottawa Counties. Contact Angela Potts or Nancy Wittkop at 866-968-7411.

Post Adoption Services - provides assistance with adult adoptee and/or birth parent searches, confidential intermediary program services, information, and referrals, and other post-adoption assistance for both adoptive and birth families. Supportive Services - providing case management, conservatorship, and guardianship to elderly or developmentally disabled individuals with no family or support group to assist them in handling their personal and/or financial affairs. Supplemental Social Security Payee - act as money manager and provide budget guidance for individuals receiving Supplemental Social Security and other forms of fixed income. Muskegon County. Contact Kat Homan at 231-726-4735.

Teen Parent Program - offers intensive services to teenage parents and their children on an individualized basis within the teen's home - the program focuses on medical care, education, and links to appropriate community resources. Muskegon County. Contact Nan Andrews at 231-726-4735.
