PRAY campaign

Our diocese has been blessed with 10 seminarians currently studying for the priesthood. To show our support of these men and their calling – as well as to build awareness of vocations – Bishop Walter A. Hurley asks our diocesan family to pray for our seminarians. We’re calling our prayer campaign “Life Is Great in Black and White.” Often, it’s easier to pray for someone if you know more about the person, so we’ve included information about each seminarian – you can click on any one of their photos on this Web site to learn more about them.

Whether you’re a member of a parish, a student, a resident of one of our Catholic institutions or an employee of one of our diocesan organizations, please take a moment to pray for our seminarians. Supporting vocations is one of our diocese’s most important missions; indeed, it is one of the most important missions of our Church.
