New deanery structure approved

Bishop Walkowiak has approved a new deanery structure for the Diocese of Grand Rapids effective today (July 28, 2016). Instead of five deaneries, there are now six. The North deanery has been divided into the Northeast and Northwest and the Grand Rapids deanery has been divided into Grand Rapids North and Grand Rapids South. Some parishes have been assigned to a different deanery based on physical location.
