Catholic Schools: Bridging Faith and Future

The Diocese of Grand Rapids is committed to implementing effective, long-term enrollment growth planning that will enhance mission and Catholic identity, programmatic excellence, affordability and accessibility in our schools. This plan is entitled "Catholic Schools: Bridging Faith and Future."

The following FlipDoc summarizes the plan's content and describes how the plan was developed through the Bishop's Catholic Schools Initiative. The FlipDoc is also available at this link, and printed copies are available from the Office of Catholic Schools (a copy also arrived with the September 2017 issue of FAITH Grand Rapids magazine). Trifold pamphlets are available, too. An electronic copy of the complete plan is available farther below.

Spanish-language informational materials are in development.

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids are an alliance of 30 vibrant learning communities (25 elementary and five high schools) serving more than 6,500 preschool through 12th grade students within a seven-county area of West Michigan. Our schools inspire young people to grow in Catholic faith and grace, achieve more in school and life, develop creativity and character, and feel welcomed and cherished for their unique gifts. We partner with parents to awaken the whole child to a world of light and life — that grows better and brighter when children reach their potential.
